Signs and Symptoms

The signs and symptoms of pregnancy vary from person to person. Someone may begin to experience symptoms within a week of conception, or they may not experience them for a few weeks or longer.

Below are some possible signs/symptoms of pregnancy:

  • Delayed or missed menstruation (period)
  • Swollen / tender breasts or nipples
  • Nausea (feeling like you’re going to vomit)
  • Fatigue (feeling more tired than usual)
  • Excessive urination (needing to pee more than usual)
  • Headaches
  • Weight gain

It is important to remember that many of these signs and symptoms could have other causes, such as stress, illness, lifestyle, etc.
