Help support the Halifax Sexual Health Centre!
We are a charitable non-profit group of family doctors, nurses, health promotors, and administrative staff that run our community medical clinic on Quinpool Rd. We offer a safe, non-judgmental, and open environment for clients in need of sexual and/or reproductive health services. Our client population is very diverse, we provide services to all ages for individuals without family doctors, vulnerable populations, youth, and the LGBTQ+ community. We are not funded by the NS Health Authority. Instead we rely on community and government grants and MSI billings to support our clinic. Providing health care in NS is costly and with the current physician retention and recruitment challenges across the province we’ve had to cut back many of our valuable programs like our nurse run HIV testing program.
Therefore, THIS SUNDAY, September 23rd, HSHC has partnered up with the Grafton Street Dinner Theatre to host a Dinner Show to raise funds to support nursing, HIV Testing, and other client focused HSHC programming. The evening will consist of a silent auction and three course dinner and show.
TICKETS are $65 each (tax included) and can be purchased in cash at HSHC or by e-mailing email@example.com
If you’re free on the 23rd and can purchase a ticket we would greatly appreciate your support!!
The Grafton Street Dinner Theatre is located at 1741 Grafton Street in Halifax. Doors to the lounge will open at 5:00PM. The silent auction will be set up upon opening. Seating for dinner and the show will commence at 6:15.
